Low Resolution Scans are JPEGs done on automated equipment, Great for the internet. These scans can be produced from APS film, 135mm film & 120/220 film (formats 6 x 4.5; 6 x 6; 6 x 7; 6 x 9). The film can be color or B & W, positive or negative. All Low Resolution scans are RGB color type, 8 bit color, JPEG file format.

Medium Resolution Scans are high quality TIFFs produced on automated equipment. These scans are our best deal at $2.00 each. These files can be printed (not cropped) up to 16 x 20 with photo quality results. These scans can be produced from APS film, 135 mm film & 120/220 film (formats 6 x 4.5; 6 x 6; 6 x 7; 6 x 9). The film can be color or B & W, positive or negative. All medium resolution scans are RGB color type, 8 bit color, TIFF format.

Custom Scans are setup to your exact specifications. Five questions are asked in order to meet your needs: Mac or PC, File Format, File Size, Color Type, & File Resolution. These scans are produced on a near drum quality scanner. The scans can be produced from a multitude of positive or negative films, including keychain positives, small format (110, APS, or 135 mm) and medium format (120/220). The film or reflective work can be color or black & white, positive or negative. The scan charge DOES NOT include any computer restoration or manipulation. In other words, if its in the original format, it will appear in the scan as well. If you would like any clean-up done, that will be billed at our regular restoration and manipulation rates.

Digital Captures

Prints that are larger than 11x17 will have to be digitally captured using various means depending on the size of the document. 803 Labs, iNC. goes to great lengths to get close to the color and density, but there will always be a slight variation from the original. Turn around time will be quoted at time of order.

Photo Digitizing

Turn your old photos into digital memories with our photo digitizing services. Bring us your old photo prints and we will photograph them and put them onto a cd for you. From there you have your precious memories in digital form so you can do whatever you wish. Store them for archival purposes, recolor, crop or digitally manipulate at your own leisure. You now have your precious memories safely stored!
